Revision activity
A quiz on key civil law terms from Areas of Study 1 and 2. This quiz is in the form of an excel spreadsheet, requiring students to identify and enter the term being defined. If students enter the correct name, the relevant cell will be coloured in green, so that they are able to self-correct their glossary. Incorrect responses see the cell left uncoloured. Unit 2 Examination
A trial or sample examination for Unit 2. This exam mirrors the structure and format of the Unit 3/4 exam. It addresses the specific requirements of Areas of Study 1 and 2. Questions related to Area of Study 3, the Law in Focus, are general in nature, so that students can use the particular area of law that they have studied as the basis of their response. Area of Study 3 The law in focus
WebQuest on human rights. A WebQuest is an inquiry oriented learning activity that uses the resources of the World Wide Web to analyse a topic and/or answer a question. Students use skills such as interpretation, synthesis, analysis and evaluation in their investigation of a particular topic or question that is the subject of their WebQuest. This WebQuest asks students to investigate the current protection of human rights in Australia, and to draft a proposed bill of rights. - Editor's contribution

Unit 2 Area of Study 3: The law in focus provides us with the opportunity to investigate specific selected areas of law in detail. In the Lessons section you will find activities relating to family law, wills and inheritances.
The Family Relationships Activity covers a variety of issues from the topic and would best be used towards the end of the topic.
In the Wills Activity students get the chance to draft a will along with a set of informing questions; this can be completed on the internet.
For those classes covering Sport and the Law, there is a Research Activity on sporting tribunals.
